Dassault Systèmes, the 3DEXPERIENCE company, hosted the second edition of the regional adaptation of the global megatrend event - ‘Manufacturing in the Age of Experience’ in Chennai on June 6, 2018. The event was attended by over hundred representatives from transportation & mobility, industrial equipment, engineering and aerospace & defense companies from the state of Tamil Nadu. Dassault Systèmes is the French software company that develops 3D design, 3D digital mock-up, and product lifecycle management software.
Last year, the inaugural edition of the regional adaptation of the global event was hosted in Pune and digitalization of manufacturing was a key focus area. Taking the discussion forward, this year Dassault Systèmes is geared up to further boost Indian manufacturing in their digital transformation journey with the 3DEXPERIENCE TWIN that couples a virtual model and physical model. Inaugurating the event, Samson Khaou, Managing Director India, Dassault Systèmes, said, “The purpose of recreating and hosting a megatrend event in India is to reach out to multiple manufacturing hubs across the country, connect with audiences locally and showcase the value of 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
