Rotomag Motors & Controls, an ISO 9001 company, specialises in compact permanent magnet DC geared motors. These are available with worm, spur and helical gears, which are built as per customer's electrical and dimensional specifications. The company also specialises in battery-operated motors (1/40th HP to 2 HP) with voltage rating of 12/24/36/48 V. As compared to conventional wound field DC motors, PMDC motors have higher efficiency, higher starting torque and are more reliable and compact. Due to the unique modular design of gearboxes (which have aluminum housing and gears of precisely lapped bronze, EN-24/36, delrin/ non-metallic material to ensure silent and trouble free operation), innumerable combinations of motor ratings, gearbox ratios and mounting positions are available. Motor ratings from 15 W (1/40th HP) to 1,500 W (2 HP) with voltage ratings of 12, 24, 90, 110 and 180 V, and any output speed from 2 to 200 RPM can be supplied in foot and flange mounting. These motors are ideal for variable speed applications in printing, textile, plastics, packaging and pharmaceutical machinery.
