Helical Geared Motor
The Helical Geared Motor with shaft mounted gearboxes in sizes TM 06 to TM 16 has been designed to suit various motor ratings and output speed requirements. The rationalised center distance reduces the overall size, apart from reduction in noise due to balancing of forces. Arrangement for mounting a torque arm is provided. It conforms to various national and international standards in terms of dimensions, material of construction and tolerances. Gears and Pinions confirm to DIN-6 tolerances. All keys are as per DIN-6885.
Gear cases are cast iron FG 200 or cast aluminium LM-6 duly shot peened and stress relieved; All gears and pinions, manufactured from low carbon alloy steels, are 100 percent helical, case hardened and profile ground conforming to DIN-6 standard; Medium carbon alloy steel output shafts that are duly hardened and ground; Ball or taper-roller is splash lubricated to give rated L-10 life of 40000 hrs.
Gearbox is fitted with oil sight glass, filler, vent plug and a drain plug; Free input-shaft to suit international IEC motor frame sizes; Squirrel cage motors from 0.18 KW to 54.5 KW used for all gearboxes; Standard IP-55 enclosures for all motors.
