Elgi Electric & Industries Ltd offers EC Series of 3-phase energy efficient TEFC squirrel cage AC induction motors. EC series has been designed and engineered in compliance with the latest technical knowledge and manufactured in the most modern factory. These motors conform to the relevant IS and IEC standards in respect of performance, dimensions, protection, insulation, terminal markings, and mounting. Salient features: suitable for 415 V ?10%, 50 Hz ?5% and combined variation of ?10%; non hygroscopic class F insulation design ambient - 45?C; use of cold rolled silicon steel for laminations; larger terminal boxes to suit even aluminum cables; terminal box rotation in steps of 90?; IP 55 enclosure; better dynamic response; dynamically balanced.; high efficiency and power factor; standardisation of mounting dimension for interchangeability and ease of maintenance; and designed for Indian tropical environment. The rated outputs of EC Series motors are based on continuous running duty SI with an ambient temperature not exceeding 45?C, an altitude not exceeding 1000 metres above mean sea level and relative humidity of up to 100%.
