Synczir Beads for Shot Blasting, Substitute to Glass Beads

Synco Industries Ltd has introduced to the Indian market Synczir Beads for Shot Blasting, a globally acclaimed substitute to glass beads for shot blasting. Synczir beads have a very low breakdown rate of only 15% after 100 cycles of blasting, which leads them to survive at least 30 times more in the blasting machine in comparison to the best of glass beads. The benefits of using Synczir beads in place of glass beads are as follows: improved blasting economics; greater toughness, density and life; better peening intensity; lower risk of fingerprints and stains; better and more consistent surface finish; less waste disposal; no etching action or dimensional change in object; and no risk of any ferrous contamination. Synczir beads are ideal for the following applications: mould cleaning and polishing of rubber/plastic/aluminium/metallic moulds; blasting of castings; blasting of boilers, heat exchanger parts, etc; deburring of delicate items including syringes, electronic items, orthopaedic implants, etc; deburring of plastic components; paint removal applications; finishing of SS and other non-ferrous components; and peening applications for aerospace, alloy wheels, spring manufacturers, etc. Use of Synczir beads in place of glass beads, would save at least 15% in blasting cost and offer other benefits like better surface finish, less waste disposal, better nozzle and filter life, less taxes, less transportation costs, etc.
