L&T Control & Automation – Business Unit offers Yaskawa’s Varispeed F7, a powerful and compact, current vector control inverter. F7 Series inverters produce high starting torque at 0.5 Hz in open loop vector control. These inverters allow high precision operation from 1/100 speed to high speed even under fluctuating load conditions. Inverters up to 18 kW can produce 125 per cent braking torque merely by connecting an external braking resistor. Features include: reliable protections from nuisance trips and voltage variation from 3-phase 200 to 240 V and 3-phase 380 to 480 V. These inverters are tropicalised to operate up to an ambient temperature of 60 degree Celsius. Unique energy saving feature of the inverter operates the motor at optimum efficiency. Models above 22 kW come with DC reactor for reducing harmonic currents. These inverters are characterised by easy operation and simple maintenance.
