Paper Band Filters

Universal Precision Tools, with over two decades of experience in filtration technology offers the best of filtration systems. The paper band filters are designed to handle both ferrous and non ferrous contaminations from coolants. The powerful magnetic drum rotating at 2.5 RPM through a heavy duty double worm reduction geared motor separates the ferrous particles from coolant and a spring loaded rubber roller squeezes the dust which is scraped out continuously. The coolant further passes through the filter paper for finer filtration. As the contamination chokes the paper the liquid level rises, which is squeezed by a float switch and the conveyor mechanism driven by a geared motor advances the fresh paper. As soon as the level of liquid goes down the motor stops. The operation is totally automatic and needs least maintenance. The clean coolant is stored in a tank, which is fed to the machine continuously. Pumps with high pressure and discharge rate to suit customers' requirements are supplied. The advantages are improved surface finish, long life of coolant, better environment and saving in cost of coolants and grinding wheels. Areas of application are grinding, honing, machining, rolling, milling, etc. Flow Rates ranging from 30 LPM to 10,000 LPM.
