Hydrocyclone Coolant Filter

Mag Tools offers hydrocyclone coolant filters that remove both ferrous and non-ferrous contaminates. They work on the principle of vortex. The dirty coolant from the tank is pumped through a high pressure pump into the hydrocyclone. Due to the centrifugal action, a vortex is created in the cone. The clean coolant rises up and the swarf is collected at the bottom of the cone. The hydrocyclone cone is made out of steel. Since there are no moving parts, it is maintenance-free. User areas include rolling mills, and wire drawing machines. Capacities covered are: 65 to 500 LPM.
