Special Dosing Pump

Amis Engineering Works has developed a highly sophisticated dosing pump for dosing chemicals in various chemical industries/feed plants for poultry and cattle and similar applications. This pump has been developed after considering various conditions in Indian industries to ensure that it performs well in all demanding conditions. It is specially designed for dosing of heavy oils/chemicals in specific volume/weight per operation. The volume can vary from 100 cc to 2000 cc that is adjustable and a stopper arrangement is given for the same. The system uses an "ISO" pneumatic cylinder, which operates a SS316 dosing cylinder. The dosing cylinder has NRVs for suction and discharge of liquid to be dosed. All the wetted parts are in SS316 material. The seals of dosing cylinders are made from virgin Teflon material. A time delay has been incorporated after the suction stroke of the dosing cylinder to ensure that it is filled up completely before the discharge cycle starts. With this, the repeat accuracy of this dosing becomes very high. This design ensures an accuracy of ?2% of dosing. The complete pump is enclosed in a CRS sheet metal frame duly powder coated for high aesthetics.
