Metachem Corporation offers a high precision, positive displacement Metering Pump, Plunger Type. The integral speed reduction unit consisting of a worm and worm wheel transmits the rotary motion of the motor to the pump drive shaft and then converted into the reciprocating motion of the cross head through eccentric and connecting rod. The stroke length can be varied by changing the eccentricity of the crank by means of a control knob. The change in stroke length of the pump can be read in terms of percentage of the full stroke on the scale provided for the purpose. Accessories: pressure relief valve, suction strainer, back pressure valve, pulsation dampener, jacketing for liquid end, automatic stroke controller with manual/remote operating facility for flow adjustment. The performance is generally in accordance with API 675 Hydraulic Institute Standard.
