Generally in pumps and gearboxes a constant level of oil (static oil bath) has to be maintained at all times. In oil lubricated bearings the last ball of the bearing has to be always dipped in oil. This oil is picked up due to bearing rotation and lubricates the entire bearing. Excess oiling would lead to leakages from seals plus over heating, less oil means bearing is running dry. Thus maintaining oil at desired level is extremely critical for long life of bearings. Lubex constant level oilers offer a leak proof long lasting design much superior to existing designs. Although the initial cost is higher, savings in terms of increased bearing life, less downtime, less oil wastage are substantial.
