Air-operated double diaphragm pumps

Hi-Life Manufacturing Co offers air-operated double diaphragm pumps useful for pumping low-density free flow powder. To avoid bridging of the powder, small volume of air is introduced that can be later filtered out without any difficulty. Due to comparatively low pumping velocity, the pump is subjected to only slight mechanical stress and thus abrasive wear and tear of pump and piping is prevented. A specially designed 'Y' configuration suction and delivery manifold add to the smooth flow of powder. Aeration valve is screwed in the suction manifold for simplifying the fludisation of the powders. The product is always conveyed with least possible quantity of air by use of this valve. Many powders that are difficult to be pumped can now be economically and safely handled. This type of pumps is available in three models with capacities between 400 and 1500 kg/h. Application: Pharmaceutical, drugs, cosmetic and food processing.
