Oil Fired Furnace

Maharashtra-based Dhanaprakash Industrial Corporation, winner of G S Parkhe and Tata Energy Research Institute (TERI) awards for energy and efficiency, has developed auto cycle controlled oil-fired furnaces used by a number of foundries and heat treatment shops. Also the company has converted electrical heat treatment furnaces into auto cycle controlled oil-fired furnaces without disturbing the electrical installations. This conversion has proved up to 50% cost saving. The system comprises of a fully automatic high velocity, short flame burner. The combustion completes in burner lance, products - green house gases are forced in the furnace. The self-igniting burners with on/off control interfaced with programmable temperature controlling device also offers additional facility of impulse cutting, providing uniformity as per API standard of thermal calibration. The firing controls itself within uniformity limits and automatically runs single/double multi profiles of ramp soak cool recorded by chart recorder. The furnaces are ideal for annealing, normalizing stress relieving, solution heating, hardening, etc, with this combustion system.
