Description: construction: dual rack and pinion, opposed piston, symmetrical mounting, pneumatic valve actuators for quarter turn valve automation; torque output range (@ 5.5 bar input pressure): double acting 1900 Nm (16885 lb.-in.); and single acting 526 Nm (4652 lb.-in.); temperature range - with Buna "C" sealing: -30 to +100°C max., with Viton sealing: -20 to +200°C max. and with silicon sealing: -50 to +180°C max.; standard material options: body in hard anodised, extruded aluminium; end caps: pressure die cast aluminium; pistons: pressure die cast aluminium; shafts: high strength alloy steel ENP; springs: DIN 17223-2 VD Si Cr with epoxy coating; and fasteners: stainless steel. Key features: two independent external travel stops to permit easy and precise adjustment of 5 degrees in open and close directions; travel stop screws are located on the body, outside the pressure chamber, to prevent accidental blow-out of the bolts during adjustment; modular pre-loaded spring cartridges for safe and easy conversion from double acting to spring return at site, with the same end-caps; wide actuator base design can be adapted to mount different valve makes requiring wider than EN ISO 5211 drilling; and unique manufacturing technique of the "TorqDrive" shaft to accommodate various valve stem configurations like double D, diagonal square and parallel square.
