Dover India offers a Plate Heat Exchangers. These are gasketed plate and frame plate heat exchangers. These exchangers consist of a number of corrugated plates with gaskets placed in grooves along the edge. The adjacent plates come into contact with each other where the ridges meet. During assembly, the channel plates are pressed together in a frame to form a tight and efficient heat exchanger. By combining plates with different angles in the same plate pack, the optimum solution for any heat transfer need can be found. Most Tranter plates are designed to give full flexibility in thermal performance. As they can be turned around in all directions, two PHEs consisting of the same set of plates can be designed for completely different thermal duties. This is especially useful when only a limited pressure drop is acceptable for one of the media but pressure drop is not a limiting factor for the other. The Superchanger gasketed plate and frame PHE has different plate patterns, large range of different sizes and thermal lengths, which make endless combinations possible to choose from. Connection sizes ranges from 25 to 500 mm. Standard materials: plates - AISI304, AISI316, titanium, Smo254, Ti-Pd, hastelloy and other nickel alloys; and gaskets - nitrile, butyl, EPDM, hyplalon, fluoro rubbers (viton).
