They enhance the performance of vacuum pumps, because the volumetric efficiency of vacuum pumps is poor in low-pressure operations. They enable operation between 10 to 10-3m bar. The booster handles large volumes of gas at relatively very low power consumption, because the construction of booster ensures contact free rotation of two figure of “8” lobes; maintaining very close clearance. The conveyance is free from oil. The AAEC boosters are integrated in a system with either a two-stage liquid ring vacuum pump or a single/two stage oil sealed type vacuum pump or a vane type vacuum pump or an ejector as primary backing pumps.
