PEPL's loop powered isolator (LPI-5) is highly reliable and uses solid state components to offer no maintenance even under harsh environments. These loop powered isolators are an ideal solution for isolating an existing 4-20 mA signal loop for use with additional instruments. It accepts 4-20 mA and provide standard 4-20 mA isolated output. The galvanic isolation of 1.5 kV is provided between input and output. It does not require external power supply and load trimming. The housing of LPI-5 is polycarbonate and is suitable for DIN rail mounting {75 (H) x 45 (W) x 112 (D) mm). Standard features include accuracy of ±0.1% and linearity within ±0.1 % of span (10% to 100% input). This model is factory calibrated for an output load of 250 ohms, for any other load between 50 ohms and 275 ohms, the load potentiometer can be adjusted to provide transfer accuracy of better than 0.1% trim with input at 12 mA. They are high of conversion accuracy, coupled with high isolation level and easy for installation, it makes them an ideal and economical choice for use in cement, chemical, steel, fertiliser, petrochemical and other process control industries.
