Agnee bevel helical gear reducer housing is usually made of close grain cast iron or structural steel. They are rugged, corrosion resistant and absorb shock and vibration. The reducer gearing is helical type made from high quality alloy steel, hobbed, gas carburised, tempered and surface finish to class 10 AGMA quality. That leads to a very good efficiency and a quiet working condition. The shafts are from alloy steel forging or bars heat treated. Low speed shafts can be solid or hollow type. Bearings are fitted on a ground journal and are spherical roller or/and taper roller type. Apart from standard range, gearboxes are also tailor made to suit individual requirement or as per specifications provided. They are available in: centre distances from 80 mm to 750 mm; single stage or multiple stage reduction; ratio from 2:1 to 625:1; tailor-made as per specifications, drawings or samples; and industrial and mining applications.
