Laxmi Hydraulics offers range of Induction Motors. Motors up to 90-frame size are supplied with aluminium pressure die-cast bodies, with high power-to-weight ratio and better aesthetic look. Motors above 90-frame size are supplied of cast iron frame with rugged construction. End shields are made of cast iron/aluminium and bearing housings are integral with end shields to eliminate misalignment. The terminal box, depending on frame sizes, is located on the top or the sides. It can be rotated through 90° steps in 360° for desired direction of cable entry. All motor shafts are made of 40 C8/EN 8 materials. The shafts have threaded centre hole for locking of pulley/gear from the drive end. Motors are supplied with keys duly fitted on the shafts. All motors are supplied with F class insulation but temperature rise restricted to B class. Insulation Class H can be given on request. The rotors are of squirrel cage aluminium die cast and dynamically balanced with half key to keep the vibration levels very low. The core material used is low-loss high-grade silicon steel. The windings are wound with polyester enamelled F class wire and impregnated with thermosetting varnish by vacuum impregnation. All motors are suitable to 415 V ±10% 50 Hz ±5% combined ±10% variations unless otherwise specified. All motors can withstand momentary overload of 1.6 times the rated torque for 15 seconds without stalling. Motors are designed for continuous duty S1 at ambient temperature 40°C.
