Innovations unlimited offer a simple, cheap highly reliable and easy to service solution for automatic control of water supply to overhead tanks and loft tanks. It is plastic bottle containing a float which operates a standard micro switch, rated for 230 V, 5 A. The overflow from the overhead tank is connected to the inlet of the plastic bottle containing the float. As the water rises, the micro switch turns Off, thereby switching off the pump or solenoid valve that supplies the water. A small hole at the bottom of the bottle acts as a timer by releasing the water in the bottle. This does not need any special installation work.
