Speedfam India, the leading manufacturer of flat lapping and polishing machines, has developed diamond pastes to cater the need for processing of hard faces right from high stock removal to fine mirror finishing. Speedfam diamond paste consists of diamond particles that are fragile, blocky in shape and excellent in exhibiting cutting properties. Sizes are graded to strict quality standards keeping in mind the desired results. The concentration selected gives optimum results in terms of cutting and polishing as desired. Theses pastes are prepared in compounds which are no toxic & non hazardous and safe to use for operators. The color codes allows to easily identifying the different types of pastes. These pastes are available from 70 microns to 0.1 micron sizes. The packing is in 5 gm syringes. The bigger packing is available on request. Typical applications of these diamond pastes are lapping and polishing/mirror finishing of ceramic and tungsten parts, mechanical seals, ceramic and carbide seals, carbon seals, metallographic samples, carbide dies, moulds and gauges, ferrites, sapphire watch glass, computer parts, printing rolls, etc.
