Dhakar Engineers offers an electronic breath analyser, ModelPD 6000. It is a hand held, portable, battery operated, torch type device. When held in front of a person and switched on, it beeps if the alcohol concentration in the breath has exceeded the pre-set limit. The instrument is factory pre-set with blood alco- hol level at 50 mg beyond which the judgement capacity gets impaired. Blood alcohol level of an individual depends upon fac- tors like quantity, speed, body weight, stomach, physiology etc. This breath analyzer is very useful to check night shift workers, drivers and regular drinkers.
