Vikrant Special Machines offers an Automatic Coil Winding Machine, HLV Series. This is suitable for automatic layer/pitch winding of HV coils with round and strip conductors; optionally the machine can be used for winding of HV coils on top of LV coils also.

• Fully programmable, PLC based with servo motor and encoders
• Programmable parameters like turns per layer, total number of turns, pre determined multiple stops
stops after each layer for insertion of paper insulation and auto switch off after completion of winding
• Drive system consists of AC geared motor with AC VVVF drive for step less speed variation
• EM solenoid brake on winding spindle for slack less tight winding
• High speed winding for round conductor and low speed winding with high torque for strip conductors
• Servo motor driven ball screw ensures accurate movement of conductor carriage for layer/pitch winding
• Carriage with linear bearing slides on hardened and ground cylindrical guide ways, bobbin stand with conductor tension arrangement
• Tailstock with revolving centre slides on accurately machined bed guide ways
• Entire machine mounted on a robust fabricated base frame eliminates grouting
