Phoenix Contact offers a new buffer amplifier MCRC/DC for the insulation and conversion of analogue standard signals. This allows a particularly space saving installation with a width of only 12.5 mm. Designed for the three most common standard signals: 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA and 0-10 V, there are nine versions of the buffer amplifier. The 3-way insulation offers the user a secure and precise signal trans-mission with a transmission error of less than 0.2 per cent. The pluggable connection technology also allows rapid piggy backing of the 20-30 V DC power supply with pre-fabricated lines. Thus these new 3-way buffer amplifiers are particularly suitable for use in larger projects, eg, in the area of water/waste water treatment and sewage works tech-nology.
