Since its entry into Indian market in 2002, SANY has made many achievements in the market. In 2016, SANY India's sales volume reached 1 billion yuan. In the first quarter of this year, its sales volume hit nearly 400 million yuan, a year-on-year growth of 90%. SANY's market shares of truck cranes and rotary drilling rigs ranked No.1 in India, along with concrete machinery ranked No.2 and excavators ranked No.6. Its annual sales volume is over 1.5 billion yuan in India.
SANY's success in India is aided by its localisation strategy in India. SANY India has always insisted on localisation not only in products but also in personnel. At present, more than 97% of SANY Heavy Industry India's employees are local Indian people. Additionally, SANY Heavy India has set up global training center to train marketing staff for SANY's branch companies around the world. SANY perfectly integrated its technology, experience and production capacity with 'Made in India' and its products have been sold to more than 20 countries in the Middle East and Africa.
